Join us for a Curator Tour with Jennifer Molesworth, as she introduces us to the amazing art in the new exhibit - Climate: Turn Down the Heat.
It is well established and evident to all of us that humans are having a profound impact on the planetary life support systems that sustain us. Burning fossil fuels is rapidly heating up our atmosphere, affecting weather patterns, ocean temperatures, water chemistry, growing seasons, and all the life that surrounds us. We are living in a new climate—one that the human species has never encountered before. Whether we acknowledge it or not, we are all feeling the changes and impacts of our rapidly changing climate. The Confluence has asked artists to explore the grief, anger, love, hope, and action that climate change inspires in them, and to appreciate the awe-inspiring beauty of life on this earth, our only home.
